ALL FLEX SALES GROWTH PROMPTS ADDITIONAL FACILITY
Northfield, MN November 26, 2012 – All Flex, manufacturer of flexible circuits and heaters announced it has obtained an additional facility to support continued increase in sales in 2012 and an optimistic forecast that requires more manufacturing space. Indirect office staff is transitioning to another facility that will allow for a 10% increase in manufacturing space in the current building which serves as company headquarters in Northfield, MN.
All Flex sales growth over 21 years in business has pushed the limits of the current building. Vice President, Kai Warnock, says the timing was perfect when a building about 100 feet away became available. “Reconfiguring office space to valuable manufacturing space enables us to accommodate more business. We are continually getting new equipment and also need more people. These infrastructure upgrades will include process improvements as well.” The changes will further support increasing demand for higher density product sold to the medical and military markets.
Dave Becker, Director of Sales and Marketing, is enthusiastic about the sales growth of the flexible heater circuits added to the All Flex product line four years ago. “Flexible heaters, built on polyimide and silicone rubber substrates, are a natural extension of our flexible circuit product line. We have further synergy in producing oversize flexible heaters as a compliment to our niche capability of manufacturing oversized Maxi-flex® flexible circuitry. We expect heater sales to continue double digit growth in 2013 as we expand our position in the electronic interconnect industry that demands more value in less space.”
All Flex will take official possession of the 5,000 square foot building in May 2013. All Flex employs about 135 people between the Northfield facilities and a third facility in Bloomington, MN where finishing and assembly operations take place.
